I rescued two brand new kittens that had been abandoned by their mother. They were only one day old. I bottle fed them and took care of them until we could find their mother. When we found the mother we put the baby kittens out and she took them back. They are doing great with their mom now. |

For the second year Jack participated in The Coldest Night of the Year event put on by the YWCA. This event is in February and used to create awareness of what it is like to live on the streets, especially in the cold winter months. The money raised is used support the issue of homelessness throughout the Country. Jack raised $500, and overall he was part of a team that raised over $2000. He has a lot of compassion for homeless people, and is determined to help find a home for everybody in Regina to live in! |

Hailey helped out a man at the Dollarstore last weekend. He was in front of her and his purchase came to $16 and when he swiped the card it was declined. In his basket he had sandals and some other stuff, she said she felt bad because he had these big winter boots on so she chased him outside and asked could she pay and he was so happy and grateful for it and thanked her. I told her that was very nice of her. |

Hi! I am entering my son Reiley Martell as the community warrior. We were at McDonald's and there was a young boy outside with a sign and my son wanted to go give him some toonies we had because he said he was probably hungry so I said yes and he gave it to the boy and he smiled and said thank you and then my son was happy too. |

I would like to enter my son Maxyn. When he started SOTD last fall he was aggressive and had little regard for anyone around him. With lots of hard work and determination he has become the sweet little boy I know him to be. We have a reward system in place at home, every day that he is good he gets one Pokemon card (he loves Pokemon!). I found out that he has been taking them to school and distributing them to all students, even the cards he loves. I asked why and he said that all kids deserve pokemon and if he can help them get it then he will. I thought for a six year old to give up a treasured item that he works very hard for deserved a nomination. |

Aiden stood up to a bully at school. This said bully was threatening to beat up a group of kids at recess Aiden stood up to him and said "It's not nice to hurt others, you should keep your hands to yourself." The bully unfortunately punched Aiden in the head a few times as the others kids ran away.
Nonetheless, Aiden saw other peers in trouble and did his best to help them stay safe
